Welcome to RPG Fail Podcasts. The name of this site is intended to be funny since many players feel that they 'fail' at roleplaying.
As a game master, I often have the most fun when situations go badly or players attempt to do 'a thing' and it just goes horribly wrong. These may be failures in the specific scenario but they certainly are not failures at *playing the game* which is all that really matters. I've been playing fantasy and sci-fi roleplaying games since I was a kid. Among my favorites are AD&D, Traveler, Harnmaster and the old Star Trek Roleplaying Game. These games are often considered part of the OSR (Old School Revival) category of tabletop gaming today.
This website was created to showcase some of content created in recent OSR games. The system used was AD&D 1st Edition with a little bit of UA and some 2E rules mixed into make the game go more smoothly. There are live play podcasts as well as some companion player podcasts that discuss the game sessions and how things went.
I'm also working on lengthy narrative write-ups from some older campaigns that factor heavily into the campaign world narrative. The setting for these adventures is a custom homebrewed "World of Koth" campaign setting.
