Grusa-kal's Prophecy

Overview

A prophecy surrounding the offspring of the last Conjurer leader of dragon kind ten thousand years ago. Before knowledge of the prophecy almost completely faded through the centuries by those few who knew of it, it was believed to have been fulfilled, but who and how cannot be answered. Fortune dragon Zhogen son of Mylegora was the only one to find and utter this prophecy, in the presence of Grusa-kal himself and of the mute spirit dragon Anyle son of Erlo.
The Prophecy
"A descendant of Grusa, of false renown, shall endure a fate, a burden not its own."
Analysis
Five years prior to the finding of this prophecy, Grusa-kal, then not owning the "kal" title, mated with a spirit dragon Klhega daughter of Tono, which resulted in three hatchlings who all survived to adulthood. These three and any young they may have, along with any more young Grusa-kal may sire and their descendants, could be the dragon in question. Whoever it is, this dragon will be forced to deal with some fate, ordeal, or burden that they need not face, for others will pressure them into finding a solution believing they are the best choice.
Legend of the Targeted Dragon
No one knows which of Grusa-kal's descendants is the dragon referenced in the prophecy. Modern scholars who have studied the prophecy universally accept the idea that in the intervening ten thousand years, this dragon has already endured that which it should not have to, making this prophecy merely a relic of a past era when conjuring dragons still lived. Accounts from this long ago are rare and carefully preserved away from general dragon society. And if the dragon still has not fulfilled the prophecy, so many generations have since passed that any dragon with ancestry linked to central Asia or beyond could be the targeted dragon.   However, there are rumblings amongst one of the few dragon spirits left from this time who still roams the spirit world. Anyle, the spirit dragon present at the reading of the prophecy, is believed to have taken an interest to the youngling known as Novayar son of Jheecu, the first dragon in ten thousand years to hatch as a conjuring dragon. While his interest is widely dismissed as due to Novayar's unique situation, Anyle's ancient Draconian speeches indicate he is linking the conjurer to Grusa-kal's prophecy, and has actively attempted to speak with the youngling.    Whether the dragon of the prophecy has fulfilled the fortune, or if they still await their ill gotten time in the spotlight, no one knows if the burdens shouldered by this dragon will be life changing or nothing more than in inconvenience. Grusa-kal and Klhega feared that fate would not be kind to their descendants, and told their hatchlings. Grusa-kal went a step further and vowed he would never sire any more hatchlings, a vow scholars believed he kept through to his death by the Curse.
