Master of Coin

One of the most popular celestials, Veros is the God of Wealth, Commerce, and Work. He is the patron of artisans and traders, many of whom often have personal shrines to Veros near their work areas. Additionally, shrines to the Lord of Coin can often be found in places where trade is prominent, such as harbors, bazaars, and merchant guilds. While Veros encourages the acquisition of wealth and shrewd merchants to compete with each other, he does not approve of what he considers unethical business practices, including illicit trade, tyrannizing the poor, or extortion. Followers of Veros are expected to engage in fair and competitive trade, looking after their communities even in the pursuit of great wealth. He appreciates those who are innovative, creative, and boldly take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves. Not only does he patron the acquisition of wealth, but also how it's spent. Many can earn hordes of gold, but few can properly save, invest, and put such gains to good use. That being said, while Veros appreciates moderation and temperance, he freely permits his followers to enjoy the good things the world has to offer. Pursuing pleasure and enjoyment of the finer things is perfectly acceptable to the Lord of Coin, as long as one doesn't transgress reasonable limits.
