Matron of Fear
First of all feminine creation, Nith is the Goddess of Nightmares, Curses, Darkness, and Primordial Evil. Created to be the companion of Luna, the two have worked to create and uphold malevolence, serving as the origin of countless forms of nefarious evils from terror to confusion. Legends say Nith pricks the soul of every baby born into the world, causing it to wail in fright and despair. Born from, among other things, the essence of sleep, she has always had close association with the realm of dreams. Any mortal who experiences terrors in the night has the Matron of Fear to thank. According to some sages, perhaps surprisingly, her greatest enemy is not Yuna nor The Celestial Order, but Muun, suggesting the God of Sleep and Dreams never forgave Nith for the creation of nightmares that would plague his eternity of slumber.
