The Final Legends

Odd name, yes. What makes the Final Legends, 'Final'? In truth, no one really knows. What the Final Legends are is a set of strange cryptic scriptures, or apocryphal quatrains, written in a very obscure language which no one has ever been able to decipher. They were written by a very eccentric man from the early 1st Age, by the name of Nostre Qam, who has been described as a follower of Phantos. But in those days, all followers of Phantos were described as being 'eccentric'. However Nostre Qam was especially eccentric. It is often described that he would boil his clothes in the honey of Scournets from a very specific part of Olympus, among other oddities.
Often those reading the Final Legends believe that he is foretelling events in the future, that he was in fact writing prophecies. Others reading these cryptic writings somehow determine something completely different, that he is telling stories. Everyone seems to discern something different from these writings, and perhaps that is the point.
Now scholars who have examined the Final Legends believe that there is a coded message hidden within the quatrains. Cryptic clues to some kind of scavenger hunt. And perhaps it is leading to a treasure. . .   To the mother of all treasures. The very source of all mystia. The very Pool of Life itself.   ...The Mother Crystal!   What if Nostre Qam had actually discovered the location of the secret entrance to the Heart of the Mother Crystal, the domain of Phantos and the source of all Mystia, and he was in fact hiding its location within these quatrains called the Final Legends?   In 2739 3A, the Dark Lord Evilon attempted to follow the path of the Final Legends in order to find the Mother Crystal. When Kairine and her son, Hyokune Kamuya and his girlfriend, Grician Rangnara tried to stop him, they were rebuked when Avalice killed him before their eyes. Kairine has decided that the location of the Final Legends will go to her grave, and has even erased Hyokune and Grician's memory of it.
