Maji Guard

The Maji Guard are, in very basic terms, an international police organisation who handle a very broad scope in terms of problems across all of Terr'ahna. This includes but is not limited to: search and rescue operations, crime investigation and persecution, and in the case of the Ghosts (who we can neither confirm nor deny even exist), espionage and stealth operations. They can even be considered the premier military organisation for the entire world, which they were forced to become once the Sechi Legion came on to the scene.
The Maji Guard, however, were originally the bodyguard of Almahna's Fae'roh, or king. As time went on, as the world changed over the millennia, wars fought and won or lost, and Almahna allied itself with former rivals and enemies, Highwind and Olympus, in an effort to fight back the demonic waves of the Gola Empire in the second age and the threat of the Sechi Legion grew more severe, the Maji Guard soon were forced to evolve with it, to become something more. Much more. In basic terms, their scope grew from being bodyguard to a king to becoming a bodyguard to the people. All people, all over the world.
