Highwind

The mountainous, snowy continent to the north of Almahna, Highwind is a very harsh environment to live and survive, which has been home to the Vikarahns for generations, as well as Cowins, who are said to have once lived on an island nearby. It is cold and frigid in these parts, with mountains covering just about the entire continent. Upon the tallest peak sits the capital city of Highwind, Snowtop City, where the king of the Vikarahn resides. There are hundreds of Mystimon species which have somehow evolved to survive in this harsh climate, including Ramulus, which are often seen climbing up along the sides of the mountain in order to feed on the small bits of vegetation there. These creatures are often also used as mounts, for their ability to scale the mountains.
In the north of the continent is the severely harsh and inhospitable Vikar Range. It is a vast plain of nothing but snow and ice. In this plain, blizzards are known to occur at the drop of a hat, randomly. None are known to have traversed the plain and survived.
