Physical Description
General Physical Condition
He has a lanky, slender form, and all kinds of scars across his body from the years of abuse he has done to himself.
Body Features
He has scars across his chest and back, down his neck, and a scar over his left eye.
Facial Features
He has deep-set, sunken, and squinty moss green eyes; sparse and arched eyebrows; white, flaky and sagging skin with a bronze tan. His face is elongated and oblong, with a dainty hawk-like nose, thin cracked lips, a pointed chin, and a five o' clock shadow and stubble. His messy toffee brown hair looks unkempt and straggly, almost oily.
Identifying Characteristics
His most striking feature is his hawk nose and pointed chin, as well as the scars covering the majority of his body.
Physical quirks
He walks around almost with a limp in his step. He tells a variety of different wild and crazy stories about how he got the limp. None of them are true.
Special abilities
David used to say that his only real superpower is his ability to spin the wildest and craziest stories and make you almost believe him.

He wears a leather aviator jacket and goggles, and roughed up, ripped blue pants.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
No one is really sure about much of anything of his past, even his best friend, David, because of his propensity to spin wild stories. Almost none of his stories are true, or at least the truth is so buried it would take a shovel to dig it out. Ask him some time, he'll probably spin you a story of how he was a hero who saved the city during the Battle of Konaset. . . fact check, he wasn't even there at the time.
Gender Identity
He is a man and damn proud of it. . . to the point that he drowns himself in alcohol all day long. At least, when he's not piloting someone across the world. We are hoping he isn't drinking while piloting, but we can't be sure.
Sexuality
This is the part he hides about himself, but David figured it out from the get-go: Aven is gay.
Education
Growing up, he didn't really have much of an education. He learned to pilot an airship when he was 13, and that was about it. He doesn't even know how to read or write.
Employment
He makes all of his money piloting for anyone who needs a ride on his airship. . . which he then spends on booze and more booze.
Accomplishments & Achievements
He doesn't really have much of any accomplishments in his life, other than earning his piloting license when he was a teenager.
Failures & Embarrassments
If you ask him, his whole life is an embarrassment. Which is why he drowns himself in alcohol all day and all night.
Mental Trauma
When he was 12, his father was teaching him how to pilot and airship, and there was a tragic accident. Aven survived the accident, but his father suffered massive cranial injuries and died almost instantly. He won't tell you this, but he blames himself for the accident, which is why he, to this day, drowns himself in alcohol. He knows he's drinking himself into an early grave, and doesn't care. Right now, that is the point. He believes it's what he deserves.
Intellectual Characteristics
Though he beats himself up over the accident that killed his father, he won't stand by and watch others beat themselves up over their mistakes, because it is like watching himself in the mirror. But he is neither courageous or humble. His greatest quality seems to be self-destruction. He believes that he has no redeeming qualities at all, but he is empathetic and kind, though don't tell him this. He'll probably shoot you.

Motivation
The only things that really drive Aven is to earn more money for more alcohol to drown himself in, and then rinse and repeat. Since the death of his father, he doesn't really feel like he has much else to live for. He doesn't believe he is even worth saving, with the feelings of guilt over his father's death weighing most heavily on his mind.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
He is quite proficient in piloting an airship, drinking, and spinning wild and tall tales. Other than that, he doesn't feel like he's good at anything else, but on the contrary, when push comes to shove, he is great at giving a pep talk to others.
Likes & Dislikes
He likes booze, hot guys, and the skies. Not necessarily in that order.

He is, underneath the alcoholism and everything else, a kind and empathetic person, and is great at uplifting the confidence of others, though he lacks confidence in himself.

He has a lack of confidence in himself, a drinking problem, and an incredible amount of guilt over the death of his father.
Hygiene
He does not take care of himself in the least. He drinks his days away when he's not piloting, and when he's not doing that, he's sleeping. He doesn't feel like he's worth more than a pile of Bitaur shit, and it shows in his appearance.

Contacts & Relations
He is a loner who has cut ties with his mother, sister, and everyone else who used to know him before his father died. The only friend he ever really had after that is David, who was the only one who saw in him the qualities that he doesn't see in himself.
Family Ties
He cut ties with his entire family after his father died, since he blames himself for the accident. He believes they don't want anything to do with him either, but on the contrary, they have been looking for him for years, and don't blame him for the accident at all.
Religious Views
He follows Conflee, the God of Adventure. . . but only for the drinking aspect. Other than that, he doesn't put much stock into religion. He believes the Gods look down on him like the piece of trash he thinks he is, and that he's worth nothing to them.
Social Aptitude
He has an extreme lack of confidence of himself, and that pit that he has dug himself into has only grown deeper and deeper over the years since his father's death. Though he treats others kindly, he doesn't treat himself anywhere near as kind.
Mannerisms
When he's not drinking, which is almost never, he has a sort of swagger in how he holds himself. But that's only if he can stop drinking long enough to get sober. Other than that, he's tipsy and turvy.
Hobbies & Pets
His main hobbies are drinking, sex, and piloting his airship. Not necessarily in that order.
Speech
Because he's drinking almost all the time, he is nearly always slurring his words.
Wealth & Financial state
The only asset to his name is his airship, which is rundown and decrepit, like he feels about himself. Other than that, all of the coin he earns gets spent on more booze.
