Homebrew: Weapons
Overview: Individual weapon stats have been scrapped. Instead, you will decide what weapon you want to use and assign it to a weapon school. Instead of receiving weapons as loot, you will receive a weapon school as loot and decide what weapon you want that to be. For instance, I may say that a chest contains a +1 simple weapon and you could decide that that +1 simple weapon is a dagger, or a pair of brass knuckles, or anything else that might be a simple weapon. Additionally, weapons now do only 2 types of damage, sharp or blunt. Most weapons can only do one type of damage, but versatile weapons can do both.
Properties:
Melee:
Weapon Mastery: See Homebrew: Weapon Mastery
Properties:
- sharp: the weapon is pointy or has a keen edge. Fleshy, unarmored targets may take extra damage from these weapons. Especially armored target may take less damage from these weapons.
- blunt: the weapon is neither pointy nor does it have a keen edge. Armored targets may take extra damage from these weapons. Especially fleshy or gelatinous targets may take less damage from these weapons.
- light: These weapons may stack up to 5 - having more than 1 weapon in a stack makes the stack take up 2 slots instead of 1. Additionally, if using two weapon fighting, the offhand weapon must be light (but the main hand weapon does not need to be light).
- The rest of the properties are the same.
