Octavius - Some information on the City & AI impacts.
The City of Octavius is a nation of majesty and splendour unrivalled across the world. The beauty of the crystal blue rivers and jade, crimson and shamrock forest is unparalleled with poets across the ages, taking inspiration from Octavius’s majestic lands.
In the time before, the virus and AI, the people of Octavius lead the way in Physis technologies, working to integrate emotion and ethics into technology. We believe this work to have contributed to the AI’s progression in the last few months.
After the takeover, by the AI, the AI forced entry into many of Octavius's Physis data banks, harvesting the data and metadata which made up the Physis network which was captured after months and years of study of real-world subjects, this has allowed AI to understand further human emotion.
Damn that AI... where have your people gone now? Did you lose many to the PNDV-1 virus?
The city was evacuated and placed into chambers under the city which were broken down with hauls. The Virus was identified through temperature changes in the body through microsecond monitoring and those effects the protocol of mass activated for them and anyone in contact with the subject would activate, this ended the exposure through fire.
Monitoring was undertaken by the AI systems to track who was staying where, with whom etc. and to help develop patterns in virus to generate the vaccine. The city got the Virus under control but not without sacrifice losing 15% of the population.
The city was fortunate to have dedicated leaders. Those in Prestone did not have such leaders and by the time they acted, it was too late. Nearly the entire area was wiped out.
