Unicorn

Unicorns are Celestial beings that resemble, but aren't related, to horses. They have white shimmering fur and a spiralling horn on their forehead. Males sport a small white beard. They are guardians of forests and nature and till defend it against any perceived evil, no matter what. They are so attuned to their homes that they are aware of all living things around them and can feel the ebb and flow of life in the surrounding landscape.
A unicorn is always on the move, patrolling the piece of land they are protecting. The goodnatured creatures living there instinctively feel safe and guarded. And things such as open flame that could threaten nature around it is automatically suppressed near where a unicorn has lived for a while.

A unicorn's horn is the focus of its power. There are those who attempt to harvest the horns for the extreme magical power locked in the horn. However, someone who kills a unicorn for its horn is almost certain to be on the receiving end of some level of divine retribution.
