Gehenna

The outer plane of Ghenna is a landscape of volcanoes. One large mountain makes up the main feature, with the ground always consisting of steep cliffs. Floating above are several layers of floating volcanic mountains with lava dripping onto the landscapes below. On occasion, these floating peaks crash into each other, forming new shapes.
Ghenna is the native realm of Yugoloths, the traders and guides throughout the lower realms. They are often seen as the guardians of the river Styx. But they are also affected by the uncaring influence of the plane itself. Those who stay here for long find it harder to act selflessly. Greed and mistrust come more natural here.

Fauna & Flora

Few things can grow here, and the things that do are incredibly hardy. Which also means that those who can contribute sustenance also charge a lot for providing to others. More commonly, resources are traded for services on other planes.
Just like the traders who are native to this plane, most of the animals here travel along the Styx. Some of them are native to other planes instead and have been imported.
