Enneas Character in Lost Waves | World Anvil

Enneas

Enneas was created by Selûne and Shar before the two of them became enemies. Both and neither female or male, they represent sensuality, sexuality and the desire within everyone to seek out closeness. Their followers teach that enlightenment and happiness come not from distance but from closeness.   Enneas preaches that only by freely giving in to passion can we truly also know what we should avoid. We know what healthy desire feels like and therefore it is easier to root out what is actually fear or anger in disguise.

Tenets of Faith

  • Consent. Your pleasure is important, but not so much that you yourself have the right to ruin someone else's.
  • Encourage pleasure. All beings deserve to feel good. Encourage them to do so when possible.
  • Be generous. Give others pleasure at least as eagerly as you receive it, in the ways that most benefit them.
  • Exhilaration. Intimacy brings about an inner strength. Use it to guide others.
