Daemon
A Daemon has an entity from the Abyss in its lineage. The rest of it can be any of the most common sapient species, such as humans, elves, or dwarves. It's most common for the abyssal ancestry to come from a parent or grandparent, but it's possible for the traits to have been dormant for many generations before a Daemon is born.
Physiologically, daemons resemble their non-abyssal lineage more, but carry some very distinct traits. They have horns and thick tails. Their skin comes in a multitude of hues, depending on their exact lineage, but variations on reds, blues, and greys are the most common. The eyes of a Daemon gleam in the dark and many have irises that look more like hellfire or some other disturbing effect. Some don't even have irises or visible pupils and are instead black, white, or red. Their skeleton is part way to growing spines or other body parts their abyssal influences would have, but they just have minor bumps in places their other species wouldn't have.
There are too many sub-species variations to mention here. Every pair of a type of abyssal and other parent gives its own variant. They might end up having some supernatural abilities that come from their abyssal side, but are unlikely to have all the worldly connections that their other side has.
It should also be noted that prejudice against daemons is common in most cultures. Their "otherness" is clear, and the connection to the abyss is obvious. It's easy for others to conclude that daemons are likely to have the same treacherous nature as their ancestor. Since this has prevented many daemons from honest work, they have fulfilled the stereotype and thus adding to the prejudice. Even in cultures where daemons aren't demonised, they are often treated as victims rather than allowed to win or lose on their own terms.
