Communion of Silence

The world is full of strife and conflict. United and free of fear, so much more could be accomplished and the Communion of Silence is here to take away the conflicts between others. They work to remove violent and distrusting thoughts and actions, allowing others to trust the Communion and put their fears aside. Some might say that they're trying to mind-control people, but the Communion will tell you that they are merely letting minds be soothed.

Symbolism

Any time it is possible, members of the Communion wear a dark veil to hide their faces, with only a small slit for the eyes. They often get a tattoo of their symbol somewhere on their body to show their loyalty even when stripped bare.

Structure

It is kept a secret who is a member of the Inner Sanctum, but they are believed to be a dozen people with significant influence all over the world. They, in turn, have Ushers in every capital and major city who might gather a cell of believers around them. Members who have proven themselves are known as Exemplars.
It is entirely possible that some of the members of the Communion of Silence have had their mind altered until they became dedicated to the cause. The group is very hesitant to let anyone use greater restoration or remove curse on any members.

Public Agenda

Despite their attempts to present themselves as wanting the best for the world, most a sceptical about the Communion. People not fighting is great in theory, but not when it means that one might not defend one's own ideas and territory.
