Iineston (eye-nest-uhn)

Iineston is the primary city of the Risklin in the the Nevisent Wastes. On one side is the Nevisent Wastes Oasis and surrounded on the remainder by mountains of granite and sandstone. The area is now well kept by the population of risklin. Among the city are housing for all of the population, areas dedicated to the creation rituals, and building for storage of materials used for consumption and creation.

Demographics

Iineston is primarily made up of the Risklin. There are a handful of humans, elves and dwarves among the population, perhaps 10 or 20 at most. The population of risklin is well over 20,000, but only about 5,000 to 10,000 are in the city at any given time. The remainder of the population is out farming crystals, vines, and other materials for food, shelter, cordage, research, and for the risklin tuning ritual.

Government

The risklin population operates more with a hive mentality. Everyone seems to know what to do, where to go, how to do their duties. From an early age, risklin are taught their primary and secondary roles. Crime is nonexistant among the risklin population.

Infrastructure

The city is on the edge of the Nevisent Wastes Oasis. It consists of an area of buildings from the original inhavitans which was protected by the surrounding mountains and was not as damaged by the magical ruin which struck the continent as the rest of the wastes. The risklin spent a great deal of time fixing and cleaning up the city to make it usable, and continue to excavate for the growing population.
