Grrchk Character in Karenth | World Anvil

Grrchk (gur-chuk)

Grrchk is the primary leader and crystal tuner of the Risklin people in the Nevisent Wastes, and lives of the edge of the Nevisent Wastes Oasis.   Grrchk is a small risklin standing only 1.3 meters tall (4 feet), but his presence will fill a room full of people from almost any race. His atunement to the crystals was not realized until after he went through the risklin tuning ritual, and by then it was to late. The crystal he was given, during the ritual, reacted with those which made him due to an identification failure during his creation. As such the reaction to the crystal given to him in the ritual caused a severe reaction sucking in magic from surrounding unused crystals. His coming into being was so profound that he would be mistaken for human had his appearance not been that of purple, yellow and green heavily crystalled risklin.   His intelligence is nearly as high as the smartest of the Nethen (D&D 5th - Intelligence 22) and his charisma is on par with his intelligence (charisma 23). The atunement to the crystals granted him great understanding of magics within the crystals, and after proving himself as a crystal tuner, he was made leader of the risklin after the previous leader recognized Grrchk's amazing potential and skill as a leader and stepped down. The other crystal tuners agreed to his ascension as leader.   Grrchk is a wizard of 12th level and cleric of 9th level and a 5th level monk. He is one of the most powerful mortals in Plane of Karenth. He does the standard damage for his level (best of classes) plus an additional 1d12 per punch or kick.   Grrchk does not flaunt his power and is relatively humble. If it comes to combat, Grrchk is very experienced and will use his magic when needed.

Hi there! You may not know me, but I am the sponsor of the Great Leader of Their People Summer Camp Prompt this year! Since you wrote this article, I would like to know, would you mind me reading it aloud on my Twitch channel next week? I have a lot to get through so it helps to do it live while people watch. If not, it's okay! Not agreeing to be streamed definitely does not put you at any disadvantage for winning in my eyes. Please respond swiftly by replying here (make sure to click REPLY under my comment or I won't be notified), message me on my World Anvil profile page, Discord, or anywhere else you find me online.   Thanks again! Whatever you choose, God bless and much success! <3
