Runic transport cart

Iphars is being reworked! Please bear with me!

The runic transport cart (also knows ans transcart) used to be a common way of transporting goods and people across Ashtara. It worked flawlessly albeit it was expensive magic-wise. After the arrival to Iphars, this method has become too unreliable and was stopped to being used on people and has been only used for research (with items) to find a new way of making it work.

The way the cart works is hard to explain to non magical engineers but in simple words: the cart has its sides covered on magical runes that translate into a complex spell with safeguards (versus teletransportation problems). One of the sides is empty, without runes in it. In the empty side, the caster writes the destination of the cart with runes and then casts the spell. These carts can only transport to chosen points that have a whole magical station built around them that are for protection of the goods and the people, as they help the carts find their way and lower the posibilities (altogether with the runic spell embed to the cart's sides) of the spell going wrong to almost impossible. Or so it used to work.

Nowadays, with the Iphars' magic, the spell doesn't seem to be able to be controlled and it will more than probably go wrong, sending the cart with whatever (or whoever) is in it to random places (sometimes even different dimensions) and in more rare cases will cause the death or breaking of the cart and whatever is in it.

The carts have been banned for public use and are ONLY used in researches. No progress on recovering the control of the spell have been shown yet. Sometimes, carts filled with notes and calls for help appear in Iphars, written in perfect Ashtarian, sometimes talking about specific people with their full names and personal information, seemingly as a desesperate attempt to find "lost" people (these people seem to be most of the time found alive in Iphars). No one knows where they come from or who are sending these, although there are rumours that they come from Ashtara, even tho most ashtarians believe ashtara is fully destroyed.
