Augalas

Iphars is being reworked! Please bear with me!

Plant caused by magical corrutpion, found it the caosts of the island. Why useful? Dunno? Maybe it can help control magic a tiny itsy bitsy

Found on the coasts of the Ithetalia island, a new plant started growing in the dead underwater soil, feeding from the magic that has appeared in Iphars. The plant itself isn't too big or showy, its stem barely reaches a couple centimeters, on top of it, many long green and yellow coloured leaves of around 20cm protude from the stem.

The plant itself, while living underwater, they do not seem to require water or even sunlight for it to survive, magic it's its living source and luckily for augalas, magic is being more and more common in Iphars.

The plant has been discovered to have two main uses (so far):

  • It repels Dealathe. It is believed that htese cretures have stayed only in the island because the plants surrounding it. People have been able to approach further to the ruins while holding this plant than people approaching without the plant. Still dont allow full access to the ruins of theĀ Ithetalia island.

  • Drains magic. If someone holds it while casting magic, they will feel that part of the spell is being eaten by the plant; it might also weaken the holder's magic but won't fully drain it. When having one of the plants in a room, the plant will drain magic from the air, causing different effects on Ipharians and Ashtarians.

  • Ipharians feel much better in a room without magic. It feels like breathing clean fresh air after breathing smoke for a long time. Their chests feel lighter, as if a pressure was taken out.

  • Ashtarians feel a shortness of breath, as if there isn't enough air to breath to feel okay. Their bodies feel heavier and headaches are common.

I like the way this plant affects the two different groups differently. I also particularly like the voice and style you've brought to the article.
