The M29 CQA Shotgun (Close-Quarters-Assault Shotgun) is a twenty-shell pump-action shotgun used by USC military personnel for close combat fighting. The M29 CQA has the largest magazine of any close-quarters shotgun assigned to the USC Armed services.
Design Details
The M29 CQA Shotgun features a detachable 20-shell drum magazine and is chambered for 25 gauge ammunition. The base model, the M29 may be fed up to six shells whereas the M29-2 variant accepts twelve. It is a special-purpose weapon used in any situation where the range of engagement is limited and when over-penetration is not desirable, but maximum stopping power is required. Some variants of the M29 CQA shotgun feature a smart-linked controllable choke.
