The middle social class, which enjoys the unique ability to be a social class that is not only inherited, but can be earned. Plebeian soldiers who dedicate themselves to their Legion may earn this social class and the benefits that come with it. This class is able to be passed to children in the same way any other class is.
Children inherit the social class of their mother; therefore, it is prudent for men to marry above their social class for the benefit of their future children.
