Rune ring of Dwarves
In the dwarven history, there is not more important artefact than the Dwarves' royal ring (or as humans call it - the Rune ring of Dwarves).
The ring was created by Bennar Grayhammer - the first known dwarf and the first king of Dwarven Mountains. A long time past when king Bennar Grayhammer ruled in the Mountains with iron fist. It was him who conquered the whole mountain system and wiped out other creatures who have the insolence to live in his kingdom (goblins and other even more dangerous spieces).
After king's death the ring disappeared and was long time forgotten. Since this time dwarves refused to name their next king until the ring will be found. Even if the king's offsprings were still alive.
In years 400 - 402 Dalewin prince Neus (half human half dwarf) undertook a dangerous expedition for rediscovering the ring. And surprisingly - he had found it!
Now human and dwarven kingdom may be united under one king - Neus the Magnificent.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The ring has a big unknown rune also serving as a king's seal for most important royal leters.
This complicated rune simply can't be copied - if you try write or create this rune, it cracks or the written rune is blurred. Nobody knows why.
