G reca is the oldest known country in the world of Ibeos. The home of the original nine races. Originally a small village on the island of Cadon, it has since grown into a full fledged nation.

Crystal Clear

Most of the nation of Greca resides on the island of Cadon, the capital, and temperate deciduous island known for its diverse and varied landscape. From sandy beaches to rolling hills, and dense forest, the island has something for everyone. One of the most striking features of the island is the abundance of sparkling crystals that can be found throughout the landscape. These gemstones come in a variety of sizes and colors ranging from small, glittering shards to towering monoliths over six feet tall. The crystals are a source of pride for the people of Greca, and have only now recently been used for crafting arcane foci. Shards are usually used, as it is taboo to destroy a crystal monolith, as it is believed to be handcrafted by Cavlos himself. Some believe the largest and most magically radiant of these have their own will and consciousness and can be communicated with. 
In addition to its crystal deposits the island is home to a variety of plant and animal life. The dense forest of Cadon is home to rare and exotic species found nowhere else in the world. The tree of life, for example, is a rare and ancient tree that is believed to have the power to heal and rejuvenate those who touch its bark. The rolling hills are dotted with small orchards, producing a variety of fruits, including the juicy and flavorful Cadon crystal apple (). The island's climate is temperate, with mild winters and warm summers. The coastal areas are known for their mild temperatures and moderate humidity, while the inland regions can experience more extreme temperature fluctuations. The island is prone to the occasional typhoon and tropical storm, which can bring heavy rainfall and strong winds. These storms are often accompanied by the appearance of the island's elusive guardian spirit, a powerful mage said to protect the people of Greca from harm. 
When the beaches are not being flooded by rain, they are usually being flooded by Grecians. They are known for their unique hues, which are caused by the high concentration of different crystals in the sand. These colors range from deep purple and indigo to bright orange and yellow, giving the island a vibrant and colorful appearance. In addition to its natural beauty, the island is home to a variety of unique species, including the Cadon ruby deer, and the majestic flower dragons. 

Just a Tiny bit to Optimistic

As the home of the original nine races, the nation is known for its cultural diversity from refugees, and tolerance of different beliefs and traditions. All guardians are praised freely here (if that is something you do). People here are known for their relaxed and laid-back nature, valuing enjoyment and leisure as much as hard work and productivity. One of the most distinctive aspects that have risen in popularity is the importance of magic and mysticism. The use of the arcane arts has quickly ingrained itself into the nation's society, and many of the citizens have at least some proficiency in magic. The official new military and police force of the nation, The Quartz Guard, are symbols of this newfound attribute. The organization is divided into specialized units based on their areas of expertise in magic. The Topaz Guard, for example, is known for their work in divination magic. In addition, an academy has opened dedicated to the study of magic, dubbed The Crystal Tower. 
 While the people of this nation are less "combat-ready" than their national counterparts, they are known for their ingenuity and resourcefulness in the face of danger. They have a strong tradition of diplomacy and are skilled at finding peaceful solutions to conflicts. As a democracy the people of Greca value equality and the freedom of individual expression. In terms of customs, they are known for their hospitality. It is customary to offer guests food and drink upon arrival and to show respect and deference to one's elders and superiors. 
 Similar to Southia, Greca has a strong infatuation with the arts, however, while Southia has an emphasis on elaborate architecture and paintings, Greca finds solace in music and dance. The nation has many intricate and elaborate musical instruments, such as the crystal harp and the quartz flute, carved from the shards found on beaches. The island is home to a variety of dance styles, ranging from the Grecan waltz to the Cadon crystal jig. Many of these dance styles is accompanied by traditional Grecan garments, such as flowing, sparkling robes by the follower, and intricately embroidered tunics and trousers by the leader. Fashion-wise, the people of Greca have generally had a relaxed and laid-back approach. However, in the last two years, a new outfit called a "suit" has risen in popularity among the younger generation. These suits are made from lightweight, breathable materials and are designed to be comfortable and stylish. They are worn in a variety of colors, and patterns, and are a popular choice for both casual and formal occasions. 

A Dark Day for Everyone

The cause of the Big Bang event is still unknown, but it is believed to have been caused by some kind of magical disruption. Some speculate that the guardians were attempting to use magic to end the war and that something went horribly wrong. Others believe that the explosion was caused by a magical weapon or device created by Greca themselves. 
The city of Cadon was severely damaged by the explosion, with many of its buildings and infrastructure destroyed. A massive rescue and recovery effort was launched, and aid has been provided by Antonian healers. Despite this, the loss of life and property was staggering, and the nation is still rebuilding and recovering from the disaster. Many families were left homeless and without means of support, and the government has worked to provide assistance and aid to those affected. Many lost loved ones in the disaster, and the trauma of the event has left a lasting mark on the nation's collective psyche. Memorials and tributes have also been erected to honor the victims. The silver lining if there is one, is the explosion also had a profound effect on the use of magic in the nation. Due to their close proximity of the surge of magical energy released, a widespread increase in magical abilities and powers has rapidly grown among the population. Though most can only perform minor magical effects.
