Iatar is diverse and vast, with a rich history filled with conflict, magic, and intrigue. Spanning thousands of years, and five major continents, giving a detailed account of all of Iatar's goings on would take far too much time and effort, though some especially foolhardy elves have sought to undertake the task. Common books on history found in local libraries or a small town mayor's personal collection might contain accounts of the many wars between kings, or the heroic tales of a local knight, but the true history of Iatar, the history that is worth telling, is forged in something much more substantial.
