Transaction Goods
Buying and selling goods is dependent on role play. GM decides what category of demand a product is in a given place, at a given time. The GM and player settle on what a fair price would be.
Then roll a 1d6 every time a player tries to transact.
- On a 1, decrease the demand by one rank.
- On a 6, increase the demand by one rank.
Other Benefits
Ruruchiq have less of a chance for making wealth than ranqhaq.
The Sapa's administration takes it upon itself to overseeing the distribution of resources. All land and resources technically belong to the state. Goods are distributed to the population according to need, as determined by the bureaucracy. This system leaves little room for independent initiatives that may subsume some of the finite influence.
Perception
Purpose
Ruruchiq is a business owner operating in a fixed location within a given community; usually in a specialized field.
Social Status
Tawantinsuyu views ruruchiq much the same as they view ranqhaq. Oftentimes, ruruchiq sneakily utilize infrastructure and projects sponsored by the state for their business; and are thus thought of as parasites by most nobles.
Demographics
Nearly every demographic population has some tiny portion, whose memebers are shrewd and opportunistic enough to carve a necessary niche for themselves. While not recognized in any official capacity, ruruchiq are able to exert considerable power on their local communities.
Operations
Provided Services
Individuals still found a myriad of ways to contribute creatively and economically within the constraints imposed on them. Such persons are formally employed around the local tampus, colcas or kallankas, since the relevant skills are transferable.
They might provide a separate service to the locals with the consent of their lords because there are just some things the appointed lords cannot provide; and need ranqhaq to supplement demand. The emphasis is on communal well-being and resource management and supporting larger populations.
Dangers & Hazards
Unlike with ranqhaq, there is no license to award ruruchiq. If they are caught operating independently, they will be arrested.
