Tribes of Ruin Spider Rider

The Urdaggar of the Spider Tribe live north of the Faeler Kingdoms, inhabiting craggy highlands and expansive caves in the Dorsang Danar. They are a fearsome group of warriors that worship the Totem god Ulalim - The Shackler. Ulalim is the spider god of Traps, deceit, and guile. The Clans of the Spider Tribe are scattered and will coalesce around the discovery of a brood mother - a female War Spider of immense size that they worship as the avatar of Ulalim. Where one of these grotesque spiders is found, a clan of the Spider Tribe isn’t far behind.
If well-fed by the tribe, the brood mothers produce War Spiders in the hundreds. The Spider Tribe bonds with these vile creatures and treats them as holy.
In times of war, War Spiders of the Clan are brought to battle, terrorizing the Faeler villages raided by the rampaging Urdaggar. Urdaggar raids are horrifying enough - but when they are led by enormous spiders that carry off prey to an unimaginable fate - the raids take on a nightmare tone that has led at times to the de-population of some areas of northern Haradel.
Spider Riders are the most horrifying of the Spider Tribe’s warriors. Most people are afraid of even garden-variety spiders - their minds can not comprehend the eight-legged giants that haunt the mountains nor the crazed Urdaggar that ride them into battle.
As horrifying as the Spider Riders are, they are held in high regard by their fellow Tribespeople. Any warrior who is allowed to ride one of the War Spiders into battle is seen as having a close connection to Ulalim. They become champions of their Totem god and are tasked with bringing home food for the Brood Mother - which may be the most terrifying aspect of a Spider Tribe raid.
