Tribes of Ruin Night Lurker

Although many would consider the Spider Tribe to be the most horrifying of the Urdaggar Tribes of Ruin, if they truly knew the horrors that awaited them if taken by the bat tribe they would consider the hulking War Spiders as harmless.   The Bat Tribe is the most chaotic and violent of the Urdaggar Tribes of Ruin. They are often portrayed by the Faeler’s of the “civilized” kingdoms as reveling in violence and chaos - but they don’t understand the cosmology of the Bat Tribe and the violence that it demands.   Hailing from the craggy Dorsang Danar northeast of the Vinaatrath, they make their homes in the rocky hills and caves where live giant bats that they worship as the avatar of their Totem god. Their range is incredible - they raid far beyond their area of control and are just as likely to raid other Urdaggar as they are their neighbors in Varkraal, Trilias, Haradel, and Kuzaarl.   The Bat Tribe often strikes at night, catching their victims unaware. And for all their reputation for violence, the Bat Tribe prefers to take prisoners alive, though they often carry away the dead as well. In some instances, entire villages have gone missing overnight - no trace of them is left behind save the abandoned trappings of hearth and home. What fate awaits them in captivity is the matter of no little speculation in the lands that are raided.   Night Lurkers, often the herald of Bat Tribe raids, are terrifying giant bats ridden by especially chaotic warriors of the Bat Tribe. Ranging ahead of Bat Tribe forces, they conduct hit-and-run strikes against threats to their Clans’ warriors while their mounts paralyze the enemy - and their prey - with their piercing screeches.   Their riders, bedecked with horrifying tattooed visages on their bodies and carrying weapons made from the bones of their victims, are meant to strike fear in the heart of any who would oppose their barbaric kin.
