The Sleeping Grush

The Sleeping Grush is an Inn in the Free City of Tehradim. Famous far and wide with the mercenary adventurers known as freeblades, the Grush is the one of the busiest Inns in Tehradim.   The Sleeping Grush started out as a humble Inn for weary travelers in the dock district of Tehradim.  
Tehradim's docks are some of the busiest in the world due to it being a free city out of the jurisdiction of any kingdom.  Already a hotbed of seedy activity and close to ships debarking travelers, The Sleeping Grush became the haunt of freeblades in the city looking for work.  The owners saw an opportunity in this and plotted how they could make their humble Inn the center of Freeblade activity in Tehradim.
Being intelligent, the owners knew they needed to make several changes to bring about the their plans.  First, the owners began purchasing buildings next to the Inn.  With a little work they created a shambling mess of interconnected buildings over the space of several blocks.  The expansion continues to this day, gobbling up properties as they become available, forever expanding to meet the needs of the mercenaries that visit their establishment.  
The Inn now boasts seventy-five rooms, four kitchens, and three different great rooms.  More importantly, the Sleeping Grush offers a large number of private rooms built off of the great rooms where a patron can quietly and discreetly discuss and purchase the services of a freeband.
Next, the quality of the food and drink offered by the Inn had to go up.  No freeband would come back from a job laden with money and spend it on slop.  Freeblades have always had a reputation for demanding the best of everything after a successful warrant, whether it be companionship, food, drink, or rooms.  An old saying goes like this:  "A freeblade and his money are easily parted." 
Finally, the entertainment at the Inn could only be the best.  Facing and dealing death every day is difficult work.  Freeblades have always liked to have a good time when they come back from a job.  The Sleeping Grush committed early on to hire the best bards, poets, and musicians in all of Faelon to entertain the men and women who grace the doors of the Inn.  
Among freeblades, The Sleeping Grush is now famous for its services but more importantly as a place where a freeblade or freeband can obtain work.  That class of people who find themselves often in need of the work a freeband can offer have representatives that live near and even in the sprawling complex of The Sleeping Grush.  
The Sleeping Grush never closes; the fires in its greatrooms are never extinguished.  Their continuous crackling is background for the never-ending chatter, singing, and carousing that makes the sleeping Grush the only stopover a freeblade needs when doing business in Tehradim.
