Freeblade Warrant

Freebands allow their patrons to extend the reach of their power with- out risking imprisonment or war. While it happens that freeblades can be found acting singly as bodyguards and couriers and the like, more often they gather into freebands and take on perilous tasks that cannot be accomplished individually.
Freebands receive a freeband warrant from their patron. Freeband war- rants are recognized across Faelon as a valid way of doing business. A free- band warrant grants the patron immunity from the actions of the free- band, but also requests that the freeband’s members be ransomed should they be taken while violating the laws of some realm or another. Some freebands stay together for long periods of time. Others are destroyed in their first encounter. A few gain legendary status, heroes of renown who command the best pay and handle the most extreme challenges. Groups of freeblades who operate without warrants and for their own purposes are known as Rogue Freebands.
