Pandora Salazar
Lieutenant Commander Pandora Salazar (a.k.a. Captain)
Graduated top of her class at the Naval Academy at Sutorium Prime, where she would complete her officer training. She specialized in Celestial Navigation and blade combat. She was known by peers for keeping to herself and spending a great deal of her time studying and practicing blade arts in solitude, preferring to keep her own company.
Her father is the distinguished and retired Commodore Seamus McCrory, a medal-earning and esteemed member of the naval community and influential member of the Fleet Advisory Board. Her mother, Elena Salazar, was a researcher that the Sutorium Academy, but she died suddenly when Pandora was a teenager.
Pandora got a scholarship to the naval academy much due to her own merits, but many suspect her most recent appointment - as captain of the FDC Argus - had a great deal to do with earning the favor and appreciation of her influential father.
Now, as Captain, she has a lot of weight on her shoulders: not only does she have the lives of 50 crew to keep in check, but the ever-judgemental eye of her father, the Advisory Board, and the Admirals of the Fleet are always watching to see how the young upstart compares to the legacy left behind by her legendary father.
