Loop Intent
Upon casting this spell, the caster creates a time loop in the creature's mind that causes it to repeat the same action indefinitely. The target makes a Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the target takes 3d6 Psychic damage and the spell ends. On a fail, the creature gets stuck in a time loop. At each of the targets turns it is forced to repeat the latest action it took. It will try to complete the action to the best of its ability, forfeiting the action if it cannot. A creature that attacked any target will try to attack that same target, a creature that interacted with an item will try to interact with that item again (possibly forcefully attaining it from another creature, if needed).
At the end of each of its turns, the creature can repeat the Wisdom saving throw, ending the spell on a success.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The duration increases by 1 round for each spell slot level above 4.
