Animate Shadow
You bring to life the shadow of a creature you can see within range. The target must make a Charisma saving throw. On a success, the target suffers 1d6 Necrotic damage and the spell ends. On a fail, their shadow animates into a malevolent attacker. Until the spell ends, the shadow stays attached to the target, sharing it's space and constantly assailing the target, who suffers disadvantage on all Ability checks and Attack rolls. In addition, the shadow deals 1d6 necrotic damage at the beginning of each of the targets turns. At the end of each of their turns the target can attempt a Charisma saving throw to dispel the shadow and end the spell.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d6 for each spell slot level above 2.
