Personal history
Happily living with his family, it all ends when a fire ravages their house and takes the lives of Hervy’s parents and his younger sister, Anna. He is able to save his younger brother Helyes merely for the fact that they were sleeping together that night.
His older brother’s status and whereabouts are unknown, and although the investigation has been dropped, Hervy is somehow convinced his brother’s the culprit, saying his behavior had always been strange.
Helyes and him are then taken in by their aunt who abuses Hervy (per his request to spare his brother).
