A thought of some historians and clerics involves unheard of beasts from the depths of our world.
It is rumored that a few archaic ancient texts had referenced large worm-like beasts coming from the bowels of the world and consuming entire villages.
Near the regions of Southbog and Southfield sits a deep circular pit ten folks wide, dubbed The Worm Hole. Below Kyland's surface it seems to go on infinitely. Some daring explorers have roped down hundreds of feet finding nothing but darkness. Others have spotted small caves dappling its circumference.
