Alnu Arka

Alnu and Arka. They represent good and evil, balance and imbalance, positive and negative, and ultimately nature vs humanity. Most Aghis or Elves of Eeradae are highly attuned to this balance of right and wrong and their complex coexistence. Many elves support the Many as a means and concept to explain the complexities within this dynamic push and pull.   Ancient texts speak of variations of these deities: Alnuthan and Akanis. Supreme Light and Supreme Darkness. They bind above and below, Hathe (summer) and Culm (winter), the seeing and the unseeing. However, these were associated with otherworldly concepts, and most of the Erta texts consistently mark The Many  as those manifesting existence on Eeradae. The Alnuthan and Akanis nomenclature is variant of Alnu and Arka though most elves tend to associate these old names as blasphemous and somehow relates to an extraplanar abomination of the balance.
