District 11: The Junkyard

One of the crucial departments of Ecosys is Waste Recycling Management. Located on the South Eastern side of Eco City, District 11 is the largest Recycling complex humanity as ever built; spanning across an area approximately 7 miles, and 5 decks high. Ecosys are proud to state District 11 is the dedicated are for waste storage and recycling. At Ecosys, we aim to recycle as much as possible to prevent the catastrophe of Resource Depletion.  

History

During the construction phase of Eco One and Eco City District 11 was designated as the Recycling & Waste Management area. Systems were designed so almost every material can be recycled, to decrease the risk of Resource Depletion; a critical state of resources are running low aboard the Aspire.  

Waste Management

Storage

District 11 is the centre hub of storing the waste generated by the Residents of Eco City. Each district has its own Waste Collection Points and from there waste is delivered to District 11 where they are stored for processing in one of our most efficient Recycling Plants.

The Dumpbox

A Dumpbox is a heavy-duty container primarily utilised to store waste, in particular, sewage waste. The Dumpbox is developed by Bulk Green, a company who specialises in eco-friendly storage devices. The container is made of non-corrosive, heavy duty alloy metals; and is constructed so it never leaks any liquids or odours, ensuring the environment around it is clean.

Recycling

At Ecosys, recycling is waste is a top priority. Everyday 10 Megatons of waste is recycled with 95% efficiency within our Recycling Plants across District 11.

The ECSG has officially announced the rise in the backlog of waste recycling, as well as there are displaced Residents who have decided to migrate into District 11. Government personnel are overflown with Residents who claim to have no other choice but to move to such a dirty place.

A spokesperson of the ECSG states, "we [the EC State Government] are doing our best to ensure the safety and wellbeing of these vulnerable Residents are..."

I liked the article, but I had hoped the "Read more..." actually lead to more info, rather than just the beginning of the page.
