Trait: Ammo⚙️
A weapon with this trait requires the use of Ammunition, or items you can must put into the weapon to have it fire (you need a free hand to reload a one-handed weapon).
Mechanic⚙️:
The weapon uses Ammunition that is appropriate for the weapon (Arrows, Crossbow Bolts, etc). Additionally, each weapon has a counter next to the keyword,d indicating its Ammo Capacity. Each time you fire the weapon, you expend one ammunition, reducing this number. Once it reaches 0, the weapon must be reloaded, using an Action / ◈ to do so, though this can be mitigated with certain features.
An Ammo Count of 0 means the weapon does not take an action to reload, but must be fed its ammunition from a source (like a quiver, ammo case, or other container. This is done as part of the attack.
Some Ammo can augment the attack, providing special details depending on the type (ex. Dragonfire rounds). Once consumed, ammunition cannot be recovered.
