Term: Domain Subclass

A subclass shared between classes, often dealing with powers bestowed by divine entities. As shared subclasses, Domains are often weaker than regular subclasses made for specific classes, but can offer variety in ways normal subclasses cannot.

Sometimes, when one speaks to existence, something replies. Sometimes, what replies is a force of nature, or a being of ancient or old worlds. Sometimes the force is loud, well known, and spoken of with prayers, while other times they are from whispered secrets and fallen orders. Sometimes, the reply is beyond human comprehension, leaving the one who hears to simply trust and hope.

The power from these entities and aspects can be tapped into and used by some classes. As such, their progression takes the form of a subclass shared with others. A Domain.
