Term: Advanced Weapons

Advanced Weapons are weaponry that are far more complex, rare than other Simple or Martial Weapons; are unconventional in nature, and/or require a specific bit of training and understanding to use. Using an Advanced Weapon requires gaining Proficiency, usually gained from classes, talents, or feats.

Furthermore, each Advanced Weapon proficiency is treated like it's own Weapon Group, meaning learning 1 "Advanced Weapon" will teach a creature to learn all of the same kind of Weapon (such as Firearms.
