Term: ⤵/Augment Down

Lowers the effect of an Ability, often reducing the number by a given amount (always minimum of 1). Abilities of certain Complexity follow these rules, often only accessed by those classes in the Mage Class Group.

This effect is also called 'Downcasting', which is the opposite of "Heightening/Upcasting a spell...".
