Rangers gain the following items when they set out to explore.

• 1. An Explorer's Book and a map from your home region. Helps to have a map.
• 2. Any Martial Weapon of your choice, 20 bits of ammo of your choice, and a casting focus.
• 3. A set of (A) Leather Armor OR (B) Hide Armor
• 4. 10 sp, found over years of exploring one's home.
