Tranquil Halflings seem like a misnomer, coming from peaceful shires and humble beginnings. The reality, however, is that despite the relatively calm and even silly nature of these adventurers, they often end up saving whole lands due to their cooler heads prevailing. Much of the time, the heroism a Tranquil Halfling goes unnoticed or underestimated, when their tales are more than legendary.
You Might...
- Prefer a nice meal before setting out. Each time, every time.
- Won't settle for any old creature comforts, often searching for the best for you and yours.
- Are not afraid to step up, even if you prefer not to. Just because something isn't your style, doesn't mean you're against doing what needs to be done.

- Are downright perplexed at your ability to travel in the face of danger and doom.
- Look to your for guidance, or at least good entertainment.
- Assume no matter where you go, no matter what you do, you will make it home.
Base Talent(s)
You gain the following...| Peace from the Hillocks | Coming from the calmer life of country and hills, you know of ways to rest peacefully no matter what happens to you and yours. Whenever you spend Hit Dice to replenish health during any rest, you may heal an additional amount equal to CON + your Half-Proficiency. Your allies will heal the same, as long as they are not Unconscious. Additionally, you gain advantage on all skill checks made to keep watch or avoid dangers (such as traps), and you have advantage against effects that induce the Frightened condition. If you already had advantage, you gain a bonus dice (base d4) to these effects instead. Finally, you gain proficiency with the Profession: Cook secondary skill. As this talent is tied to a heritage, it cannot be regained or swapped, unless under specific circumstances. |
