BH: Dusk Elf

Elf

Description

Roleplaying Info

With skin of purple, grey, or black; these elves are often associated with either the darkness of the underground or the black pitch of night. Usually part of counter culture or ideals opposing the norm, the Dökkálfar, Dark Elves, Low Elves, or Drow are a favorite for those wanting to play against the type.

Not all Dusk Elves live in the darkness of the underground, though their customs may come from such or similar. An example of Dusk Elves that do not exclusively live underground are the dark skinned islanders of Animundi, with their customs remaining due to their proximity to the dangers down under.

You Might...
  • Be on a mission to find your own place in the world, because or in spite of your culture.
  • Have never been to the underground yourself, but know how to thrive in such anyway, should the time ever arise.
  • Have a really neat cultural tattoo that holds a special meaning from you and your clan.
Others Probably...
  • Have weird notions about you based on ancient ideas from awful people, and are shocked that you are incredibly normal (if you are).
  • Look to you for guidance when traversing through the dark or the unknown.
  • Marvel at the things you've perfected in your time in solitude.
