Let's face it: some people can't handle fame. You're not one of those people.

People know your name far and wide, having heard of you and your great deeds in some spectator sport, or similar. Perhaps you were an athlete or competitor of some famous arena, or a famed gladiator that bards have sung about for at least an age. No matter what, people have heard of you, and that pays dividends when you show up in places, large or small.

With this feature, you and your GM set up a place of origin where you've performed or competed. Within a range a large range (about 100 miles or the world's equivalent), people will treat you with kindness or some sort of celebrity or great, adventureless hero. At least, until you fall or prove that you're not up to the task. Or the "Legend" is bigger than you could ever be.

No matter what, common, lower, and occasionally upper class folk will provide you with amenities and comforts you'd request, sometimes for nothing (depending on the GM or Adventure). You may even be able to get away with more while adventuring: provided you give something in return.
