Your culture has lent you the ability to work with the metals and ores. You gain a Profession skill of your choice, from the original 12. Additionally, you do not need to Prepare an Area when Crafting, or use proper tools when working with Metal or Stone . Using proper tools gives you a Bonus Dice (base d4) to your crafting rolls. At 5th character level, the bonus to crafting applies to all crafting materials, not just Metal and Stone.
