Item Description

Brigandine leather armor, often just shortened to studded leather armor or just studded leather; is a form of light hide armor that's been reinforced with other bits of leather and plating. The namesake comes from the look of bolts or other fastenings meant to hold the layers together while in movement or motion, thus giving it the look of a bulky, riveted piece of gear.

There is a debate on whether Brigandine leather should be called Studded Leather and visa versa, as the former has historical precedence, and the other doesn't, but is known in pop culture and games similar to CHASE. That debate goes beyond the bounds of this description, as this is just meant to tell you it's armor that's better Padded Leather, call it whatever, and it just looks cool.
