Repairing an Iem |
You spend 10 minutes attempting to fix a damaged item, placing the item on a stable surface and using the repair kit with both hands. The GM sets the DC, but it’s usually about the same DC to Repair a given item as it is to Craft it in the first place (10 item Power Level + Magic Power level + Rarity modifiers, if any).
Items come in 4 states: Normal, Damaged, Broken, and Destroyed. Item enter each state after they are dealt or heal an amount equal to the Crafting DC per state. You cannot repair Destroyed Items, as it requries to pieced back together and/or something special.
Depending on your degree of success, you repair an item by an amount equal to the following:

Failure: You do not repair the item.
Critical Failure: You deal 1d4 force damage to the item per point you failed by, possibly bringing it down to the next possible state. This does not affect items you do not own.
