Isolde
Leader of the Carnival of Fear, Isolde was once a holy warrior devoted to a pantheon of elven deities called the Seldarine. In this role, she defended the Feywild against dragons, demons, and other threats. She adventured with Naali's mother in the 13th century, before Naali was born.
Continuing her travels after Naali's mother ran off with some "dashing fiend" (Naali's father), Isolde's luck took a turn for the worse as she quickly found the rest of her companions either slain or corrupted by a fiend known only as "The Caller". Broken, Isolde retired from a life of adventuring to pursue a very different line of work.
Isolde has since became the master of the Carnival of Fear, a traveling supernatural carnival which Naali remembers as "anything but fun".
