Goblin Hot Springs

Nestled in the foothills of the The World Spine is a miles wide crater. Something fell from the sky. The mountains were cast aside as mere children's toys. Whatever fell here hit with such a force as to bury itself so deep into the ground that not a trace still exists. Or perhaps, disintegrated itself. Destroyed by its own ferocity. Yet through destruction, creation can begin anew. Forming something bold. A crater was left behind and through some crack in the mountain bed it filled with water.
The waters are uncharacteristically warm, heated from some unknown source beneath its depths. Diving into the waters has turned up only dirt and rocks deeper probing was planned, but since Foere lost control over these lands it is now under the domain of the goblin tribe.
Goblins, never a group to look gift-human in the mouth, have been enjoying it as a hot springs. A place to rest and relax and have, as yet, not been curious enough to notice how out of place the crater is. With the goblins focusing on excavating ancient sites from deeper within the World Spine, this is one mystery that looks to remain so for quite some time.
What is known is that the waters have healing properties that can cure any skin disease. Those who bathe in its waters can never lose battle the next day. However its remote location make it a logistical nightmare to march an army to the waters and then to the place of battle.
The goblins don't seem to make use of the rumored military benefits and seem content and are content to use it as a recreational facility. As their warbands wind down they are enjoying the fruits of their labor. Even a joy as simple as a soak in warm waters is enough to heal the soul.
