Keratus Kranío
FirstLord of Kéranío; Father of the Dinasty Keratus Kranío (a.k.a. The Flaming Rider)
Keratus Kranío was a firebender from the island of Kéranío. He unified the island of Kéranío under his rule and was the first known Dragon Rider. He is the founder of Royal Dragon Riders and the Keratus Dinasty which is one of the two rulling families of the Kingdom of Spakov and has the title of King/Queen of the Flaming Dragons.

General Physical Condition
It is said Keratus was a fair tall man with a strong body. He kept a long, wild beard and his hair long and black, in youth, was kept in a ponytail.

Personal history
It is said that Keratus was born to a low family who owned a small shop in Kéranío. As a child he marveled at the sight of dragons flying the distant hills and the beautiful fire they spew, and as soon as he could he left to learn under the dragons. Years after he returned to his village, wise and powerful he became their leader and rallied them to overthrow the vicious lord, the people were afraid for the lord had a well armed army, yet he reassured them. When the time of the attack came he dropped from the skies on the back of a dragon fighting in perfect synchrony with it, and leading a battalion of dragons behind him. The lords' army surrendered at the sight of them and he was chosen to become the new lord. However seeing the island still lay in disarray from the many lords and their constant Keratus decided to unify it and did so with his dragon battalion. After less than a year of conquering he became the first Lord of Kéranío having rule over all of it. As Lord he divided his time between ruling the lands and meditating with the dragons and learning from their wisdom. At the age of 47 being frail from age and having a heir it is said Keratus went up to the hills and in a last act of devotion to the dragons chose to be consumed by their flames so as to forever be with them.
